ITS is an honor society for high school students in the theater arts, with chapters in  around the world. To become a Thespian, students must earn at least 10 Thespian points and submit an application, as well as maintain a 2.8 GPA.

 

Students at Hillsboro can earn points by participating in Hillsboro Players productions, either as an actor or techie. They can also claim up to 5 points for theatre experiences outside of school. Applications are available in April and the induction is in May.

 

ITS meets monthly, and sponsors community service and fundraising events, as well as social activities and group outings to area theater productions.
